Motion Graphics & Illustration
Art and animation for a visual novel dating game set in a retirement home. As a Junior 2D Artist Intern, I helped design and illustrate key art assets for the game launch on Steam and Nintendo Switch. I designed playing cards, rendered illustrations from other team member’s sketches, and storyboarded and animated music videos and promotional videos.
Animated character expressions using provided art from the Lead Artist. These were used for social media content and in game trailers.
Lyric Video
Later Daters wanted to showcase a quirky dating game about romancing elderly people that is carefree and fun. I assisted in editing a lyric video where it introduces the plotline and characters in a playful style. Using the catchy theme song, I was able to convey the game’s lightheartedness through animating characters, background patterns, and lyrics.
Music Videos
Later Daters wanted promotional content of one of their main characters, Jax Argo, a former rock star. They requested 80’s inspired music videos. As a team we collaborated on the concept and aesthetic of these videos. I assisted with storyboarding and illustration, which I then used to animate final products.
